Project Description: Sam Divati provided electrical design documents, construction services, and commissioning for two new buildings on the Germantown campus – the AC Building and the RFT Building. Both buildings are mission critical buildings. The AC Building houses data centers, office space and a world-wide tracking center for satellites. The RFT Building contains equipment that constantly communicates with satellites via 14M antennas outside the building.
Project process and schedule: The design and construction of these two buildings was completed in a 9 month period.
Project cost data: This was a multi-million dollar construction project.
